Scott Koniecko

Architects

Scott Koniecko Architects is committed to the principle that architecture evolves from a sensitive and heedful understanding of the settings of the daily interactions of the people that it serves. And that this knowledge is integral to both the beauty and the dignity of the place that is ultimately created.

The firm is known particularly for its residential work and art galleries, located throughout the United States and abroad. The architectural character of the firm's designs illustrates a meticulous, innovative response to the unique programmatic demands of the clients and to the placement of their projects. Imaginative and diligent design resolution, attention to detail, and a thorough respect for and use of materials typify the final results.

Principal architect Scott Koniecko graduated with distinction from the University of California at Berkeley and then worked for ten years at the office of I. M. Pei and Partners before starting Scott Koniecko Architects in 1987. He is a member of the American Institute of Architects, is certified by the National Council of Architectural Registration Boards, and is currently licensed in several states.
